My Journey at the “Youth Dialogue for an Inclusive and Digital Future” – Where the Voices of Youth Are Truly Heard

Technology is reshaping our world faster than ever before. Yet behind every breakthrough lies a critical question:
“How can we ensure that the digital future is inclusive — a future that belongs to everyone?”

That question inspired me when I was selected to join the “Youth Dialogue for an Inclusive and Digital Future”, an initiative organized by the United Nations in Vietnam, in response to the UN Summit of the Future.

For me, this experience was not just an event — it was a journey of connection, learning, and finding my voice among a generation determined to create meaningful change.

1. The Beginning of a Purposeful Journey

As a young professional working at the intersection of AI and mental health, I have always been fascinated by how technology can serve humanity, not just efficiency.

When I learned about this Dialogue, I knew it was a space where the voices of young people in the digital age could be heard, and where our ideas, hopes, and concerns could be transformed into real discussions shaping the world’s future.

Being part of the Dialogue allowed me to connect with other passionate youth — each with their own vision for an inclusive, ethical, and people-centered digital transformation.

2. A Platform Where Youth Are Truly Heard

Throughout the Dialogue, I met inspiring young leaders from diverse backgrounds — technology, education, communications, and social innovation. Together, we exchanged ideas on topics such as:

• Digital transformation and equal access,

• Building digital skills for the future,

• Ethics in artificial intelligence,

• The role of youth in shaping an inclusive and human-centered digital society.

What struck me most was how representatives from the United Nations in Vietnam genuinely listened to us — not as beneficiaries, but as partners in shaping the future.

3. My Contribution – Technology with Empathy

During the session, I had the opportunity to share about my project, IAmHere – an AI-powered mental health platform I founded to provide emotional support and detect signs of depression through conversation analysis.

I spoke about how technology should be a companion, not a replacement, and why ethical AI matters in ensuring that innovation serves the human soul — not just progress.

As I said during the Dialogue:

“An inclusive digital future is not only about access to technology; it’s about creating technologies that understand, respect, and care for people.”

Those words reflected not just my own belief, but the collective voice of our generation — one that dreams of using technology to heal, connect, and empower.

4. The Future Belongs to Those Who Dare to Speak

Leaving the event, I carried with me a profound realization: Change begins with dialogue.
When young people dare to speak, we do not just express opinions — we shape policies and inspire action.

The “Youth Dialogue for an Inclusive and Digital Future” was not only a conversation; it was a call to action — for every young person to become a changemaker, co-creating a digital world that is inclusive, ethical, and compassionate.
